Downtown Market set for Fall 2011

Downtown Market returns for the Fall to Heritage Plaza in Downtown Longview.  Sept. 30-Nov. 4, 2011   This six week event happens every Friday when vendors from the area set up their booths to sell a wide variety of goods.  Past Downtown Markets have included lawn furniture, pet food and supplies, jams, jellies, home made honey, dresses for little girls and prepackaged and sealed food.  Ladies jewelry is always a favorite ware at Downtown Market.  Enoch Stomp Vineyard and Winery have been known to take a both and sell their excellent wine made just outside of Longview.  One never knows what they might find at each Downtown Market as each week offers a different mix of vendors. 

At the same time, the vendors and shoppers can enjoy the free music concert performed on the Plaza for Music on the Plaza.  Music on the Plaza, now iin its sixth year shares Heritage Plaza with Downtown Market making the whoe event festive.  Vendor applications are available at the Longview Chamber of Commerce or by emailing and providing your email address to downtown@longviewtx.com.
